Grandparents' Day and Year 5 Victorian Afternoon

On a beautiful June day we were delighted to welcome over 200
grandparents to Danes Hill for the school's inaugural Grandparents' Day. All those attending were treated to a varied programme of entertainments, as well as being shown around the school by their very eager grandchildren.
It was a pleasure to watch the different generations take such delight in each other's company and we have had several requests to make this an annual event. With grandparents coming from all over the country and a few flying in from abroad, we have been made even more aware of the excellent support offered by grandparents to their families!
