And That's Mathemagic!

Wizard mathematician Andrew Jeffrey visited Danes Hill this week to present his Magic of Maths show to pupils from Reception to Year 8. He kept the children entertained with his ingenious tricks, many of which are based on mathematical principles, and then gave us a glimpse behind the scenes by exploring how some of them worked. Pupils in Years 6 to 8 went a stage further, participating in Mathemagic workshops to look at the mathematics behind some of the puzzles – tricks which they will now be able to perform for friends and family!
