Year 6 Survival Course 10th May 2008
On Saturday 3 May 32 boys and girls spent the day learning to survive in the great (Danes Hill) outdoors. The enthusiastic staff from Bushcraft Survival taught the children the survivalist's tricks of the trade, including firelighting, shelter building, wild camp cooking, water purification techniques and plant recognition. The weather was fantastic, the children learnt a lot during the course of the day, and fantastic fun was had without an X-box or Play Station in sight!
