Year 8CE - Summer Term 2008
ENGLISH
- Continued work on ‘practice’ papers
- Revision of all work to date (for all sections of the paper)
MATHEMATICS
- This term is used for practicing CE Papers 1 and 3 and any topic revision need for individual sets
- Higher tier pupils will continue to work on the skills needed for this tier, with appropriate practice papers

- Learning songs for the Year 8 production
- Series of games & exercises & activities related to the Year 8 Leavers’ production ‘Bugsy Malone'

- Analysing the drawing, design layout, colour and pattern of Japanese prints
- Experimentation with materials and techniques
- Production of a four panel painting/screen in card, materials and paints
- Looking at Monet, Van Gogh and others
- Expressive techniques in a variety of different medium including oil, pastels and acrylics
