 HISTORYImportant Buildings·         Study what castles were used for, how they were built and who lived and worked in them.  Motte and Bailey Castles.  Square Keep castles.  Attacking and defending castles.·         Chronology, appreciating the changes in the building styles, materials and levels of comfort for the occupants.·         Visit Hever Castle to see how castles have been lived in up to the present day·         Cathedrals – focus on Canterbury·         Parliament·         Palaces   GEOGRAPHY

Combining pictures and text
  • Make a profile of themselves using MS Word.  Use a digital camera and import the photographs
  • Produce a programme for sports day using 2 Publish

  • Continue gaining stamina and strength through warm up routines
  • They will progress this term by creating their own compilations, choreographing simple pieces in small groups

  • Developing singing as a year group
  • Exploring the instruments of the orchestra with particular reference to the string section

  • All art projects will link to geography, history and science topics this term
  • Perspective, observational painting, colour mixing, clay techniques and collage
